Glad you're here.
I’m Nathan Barron, a photographer and videographer based in Houston, TX.
I've been telling stories through a lens since I was fourteen—first as a wildly underpaid but technically award-winning 4H journalist, and now as someone lucky enough to do this full-time.
Fun fact: I was once published in National Geographic Kids (a career highlight my family still brings up at holidays). Also, yes—I have a mullet. It’s not a phase. It’s a lifestyle.
Over the years, I’ve shot a bit of everything: weddings, youth camps, events, small businesses, and the occasional project that defies any logical category. I’m drawn to images that feel genuine, that catch the small in-between moments—the ones people usually forget until they see them again in a photo.
Whether it’s a quiet ceremony or a reception that feels one song away from mild structural damage, I’m there for the whole thing—capturing what’s actually happening, not just what’s been choreographed.
When I’m not working, I’m probably pretending to reorganize my gear, overthinking color grades, or trying to understand why Wes Anderson makes me want to move to rural France and take up birdwatching.
Let’s make something honest—and maybe even beautiful.
Drop a line—I’d love to hear your ideas.
